Bringing New Learners Into Your Clinic

The first days of a clinical rotation are arguably the most important for you and your learners. After you introduce a new medical student or resident to your staff, consider taking some additional steps to help your learners meet their learning goals while ensuring that you maintain clinical productivity. Have brief one-on-one meetings with them to assess their experience levels and help them acclimate to your work environment.
