Introduction; Agreement to be Bound. Use of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) website, www.teachingphysician.org is subject to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website. Your use of the Teaching Physician website constitutes your agreement to these Terms.

STFM reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms. Your continued use of the website indicates your acceptance of all terms and conditions contained in the Terms posted at the time of your use.

Unless otherwise noted on the website, all content, resources, and intellectual property on the website, including the STFM and Teaching Physician logos, (collectively, “STFM's Content”) is the property of STFM and is protected by applicable United States copyright and trademark law, as well as other federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations. Use of the Content is subject to all such laws and regulations as well as these Terms.

Use of Content. Content on the website may be downloaded, viewed, and printed for your personal and noncommercial use, provided that all trademark, copyright, and other proprietary notices appearing in the material is retained. 

Restrictions. Except as otherwise expressly authorized by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, or distribute any portion of the STFM Content without the prior written permission of STFM. You may not (a) engage in any unlawful, false, misleading, offensive, obscene, threatening, harassing, or abusive activities or postings on the website; (b) upload any viruses or any other computer code intended to damage, disrupt, interfere with, or destroy the performance of or access to the website; or (c) solicit other users to join, become members of, or contribute money to any service or organization.

Third Party Content. STFM has provided links to websites and resources sites owned and maintained by third parties. These links and information are provided for informational purposes only and constitutes neither an endorsement nor a recommendation by STFM. STFM is not liable or any inaccuracies in third party links/content. You must obtain written permission from the third party owner before using any third party content.

Teaching Physician Content. All STFM Content is provided on an "as is" basis. STFM makes no representations or warranties as to the completeness or accuracy of the content.

Governing Law:  These Terms and all matters and disputes arising out of the website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Kansas without regard to its conflicts of laws principles. You hereby agree that any dispute, law suit, or other action arising out of the website shall be instituted and resolved solely in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction located in the state of Kansas.

Severability. If any part of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unlawful, unenforceable, or invalid, all other parts shall remain in full force and effect.
